The Perfect 10 Minute Teriyaki Sauce

This delicious Teriyaki sauce takes only minutes to make and is perfect for all sorts of meats and vegetables. As an added bonus, this recipe is 100% vegan! Throw it on your next stir fry, and save the rest in the fridge for later!

 

Making your own homemade teriyaki sauce is definitely a step up from a store bought version, and it’s easy to make! Follow along for the perfect 10 minute teriyaki sauce:


Ingredients:

½ cup tamari (substitute with low-sodium soy sauce)

¼ cup brown sugar

2 tbsp rice vinegar (substitute with apple cider vinegar)

1 tsp ginger (finely ground)

¼ cup water

2 tsp cornstarch

2 cloves of garlic (finely minced)


Recipe:

  1. Add all of your ingredients to a medium saucepan and stir
  2. Bring to a boil on medium heat, then reduce the heat and simmer for 4-5 minutes, stirring occasionally
  3. Store in the refrigerator for up to a week!
